Cultural study includes holidays such as Mardi Gras, la Chandeleur, and Valentine’s Day, along with music and cuisine from various regions. Students engage with stories and mini-novels that increase in complexity and incorporate high-frequency vocabulary and grammar structures. Emphasis is placed on using the past and future tenses, as well as practical vocabulary for real-world communication. Frequent interactive activities and games help review and reinforce course content, fostering both engagement and retention.

Honors French IV provides an immersive experience designed to deepen students’ understanding of the French-speaking world while expanding language proficiency.
