Sculpture I

020100 Sculpture I - Grades 10, 11, 12

Emphasis will be placed on the processes of creating three-dimensional art. Students will gain skills and experience with diverse media, while increasing fluency in visual language. Expect to practice the behavior of artists as you produce, view, and discuss art. Possible media may include clay, found object, wire, and more. 

PREREQUISITE: Introduction to Art

020110 Sculpture II - Grades 10, 11, 12

Sculpture Il will be an extension of the skills learned in Sculpture I.  Students will pursue different experiences in diverse media, learning new or more advanced skills and techniques to strive for depth of knowledge. Expect to practice the behavior of artists as you produce, view and discuss art. This is your opportunity to expand upon what you did in Sculpture I. Possible media may include clay, paper mâché, cardboard, wire, carving, etc.
