Focus is on the study of multifaceted connections among nation states, nongovernmental organizations, diverse ethnic, cultural and religious groups, and populations around the world, through the analysis of current events and issues to understand how those matters are influenced by geography, history, culture, religion, governing systems, economies, resource management and human rights. Students will develop critical thinking skills and perspectives to better understand the many complexities in today's world and will collaborate to develop possible solutions and strategies to those problems now and in the future.
