Note: All students in grades 9-11 will be required to take at least one class in each of the four core content areas each year (English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.)
Note: Eleventh grade students who are not proficient on the Keystone Exams (in Literature, Biology, or Algebra) may be scheduled into a remediation class for their specific areas of need. As per Act 158 of 2018, students graduating in 2023 and beyond who do not score proficient or advanced on the Literature, Biology, and/or Algebra I Keystone exams by the end of their junior year, will be required to demonstrate postsecondary readiness through one of four alternate pathways that more fully illustrate college, career, and community readiness. Those alternate pathways include the Keystone Composite Pathway, the Alternate Assessment Pathway, the Evidence Based Pathway, or the CTE Pathway.
