CA0200 Cougar Academy Physical Education - Grades 11, 12

Cougar Academy Physical Education is designed primarily for the 11th grade student who has taken 2 classes in physical education/ aquatics/ lifeguarding classes. Students are required to complete a written, self-created 10- week fitness program complete with long- and short-term goals, times, durations and lists of exercises proposed for completion during the semester of the class. Students will then be required to implement this routine over the course of semester in the form of an activity log including 60 hours of accountable activity, monitored by the instructor, related to the routine they have created. Students will be required to complete an end of course reflection on their semester of physical activity and relate it to their ongoing attempts to remain physically active.
*Grading for this class is on a pass/ fail basis. A passing grade will not impact GPA; a failing grade will impact GPA.
