Students will be introduced to female trailblazers that have contributed to the political, social, scientific, technological, and economic conditions and advancements of women throughout history. Students will understand the historical challenges faced by women and how their achievements have helped shape the fabric of history and altered the expectations and roles of women from colonial times up to the modern world. Students will identify modern gender disparities in the world today and examine how the world is working to address those disparities.
