This class further refines students' skills in safety, manipulation of metals, and the engineering design process. Students will be challenged to design a unique metal-based product, create a mock-up of their design, produce their product, and evaluate the final work. Areas of study will include welding, machining, fastening, casting, and finishing of metals and metal products.
