110010 Computer Aided Drafting and Design - Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

This course further develops the students' understanding of drafting and design. Students will be involved in both mechanical and computer aided drafting, with the major emphasis on CADD. Activities will focus on problem-solving and the design process. Drafting based projects will include multi-view drawings, isometric drawings, and 3-D modeling. Other areas of design will also be explored in this course. The software packages that will be utilized in this course will be a combination of AutoCAD, Fusion360, OnShape, and possibly others.
