080130 Earth and Space Science - Grades 10, 11, 12
1 credit
This course engages students in the dynamic study of Earth and its place in the universe. Students investigate Earth's systems—including the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere—and their interactions over time. Emphasis is placed on understanding weather and climate, plate tectonics, natural resources, human impacts, and the Earth’s position within the solar system and broader universe. Students will develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific communication while exploring real-world phenomena, from local geology to global climate systems and space exploration.
