OLSP Source

Calling all digital creators

Your media team needs you!

We have a a web page, a YouTube channel, a SoundCloud account, an Instagram and a Facebook page but we’ve got no content! If you are interested in making digital content – animations, tutorials, music videos, photography, or anything you can think of, then we would love for you to come and join us. First meeting will be this Thursday – 9th September in DIGITAL CREATIVITY (in the Science Department) – All welcome!

welcome to olsp source

OLSP has had a very successful media/news team for over 10 years creating newsletters, news items for local press, VOX POPS student shorts and even short films which have been recognised by National and local awards.

In a more digitised age where everything can be accessed on personal devices at the touch of a button, our media team decided it was time to branch out and explore new ways of getting the wonderful achievements and talents of our students out into the wider community for all to enjoy. A chance to share with family and friends both in the local community and further afield. We also wanted to encourage more of our pupils and families to get involved in the items and products we are able to share via social media.

We now have a Facebook page, Instagram page (@sourceolsp), Soundcloud account and a YouTube channel and our aim is to help our students to explore their creativity and critical literacy skills to the fullest. As we post to these pages we will also post here, so please come back regularly to keep up to date with our talented pupils.

We ask all users to treat these forums, along with our pupils’ work with respect. They are safe places which all of our community can enjoy, and OLSP Source will strive to promote this.
