Navigation Games wants to make orienteering accessible and so can provide clients with downloadable kit materials (saved in this folder). We will give them access after they have shared some basic information on their programming (ages / # kids) and request that they report back after they have used the materials in their programming.
A client will email us to request access to the kit materials
We will send this email to the client
The client will fill in this survey, which ask questions about their plans to introduce orienteering to their group
Upon completion of the survey, they will be given a link to the folder with the kit materials and asked to request "Viewer" access
An email will be sent to all administrators to give the individual access. When granting access:
Make sure that "Viewer" access is given (and nothing more).
Paste the following message into the access email:
"Hi there!
Navigation Games is thrilled to share these resources with you—completely free! 🎉 It’s all part of our mission to make orienteering fun, approachable, and accessible for everyone. Inside this folder, you’ll find everything you need to run the activities included in our "Beginning Orienteering Instruction Kit". Consider it your adventure launchpad! 🧭
Got questions or need a hand? We’re just an email away at admin@navigationgames.org. We can’t wait to hear about the awesome orienteering adventures you create— happy navigating!"
After giving access:
Slack the team (on the #programs channel) to confirm that you have provided access to the client (as multiple people will see the email)
Add updates to Monday.com:
Look to see if the client already exists as a contact (e.g. they may be a conference attendee). If they are not in Monday.com, add them as a contact.
Add an outreach item with a date reminding us to follow up with the client about the orienteering activity, after it has happened. This information can be found in the completed survey (date - type of group etc.).
