The product that I chose is the Updated Waste Bin. The Updated Waste Bin is a trash can that can be controlled through voice and motion control. The product was created by a company called simplehuman and has been properly commercialized. I have been able to identify this commercialization as I found that the Updated Waste bin is sold on the simplehuman website and amazon.

Simplehuman used a variety of intellectual property protections in order to protect their invention.
