This project was a cool one. I wouldn't classify this project as hard, but it wasn't easy. I personally am not very creative so coming up with a cool arcade game was hard. i talked with my classmates and they said basketball was a cool idea. I couldn't do much with lo res basketball. But I did what I could. I made a small little basketball hoop, drew the lines and created a structure. As you will see, it is a hard game. I thought this was a good first iteration. Especially since I couldn't use any technology to do so.
I would add a lot of improvements.
- I would engrave the lines so that they are more precise
- I would laser cut a better hoop,
- I would laser engrave instructions onto the bottom
- I would create a scoreboard
- I might create a timer
Others who played my game suggested making it easier. I made the game hard when I first made it and when I make it better, I should probably make it easier. The pictures are below.
The original structure of my project.
The basketball hoop. I took a small styrofoam cup, cut its bottom and colored the rim.
The final lo res structure. Has some lines to indicate its basketball. The game is hard because you have to bounce a bouncy ball into the hoop. But you can't bounce the ball onto the cardboard.
Here are some people trying. It is a really hard game.
