Project Selection Trimester 2

This is my project selection blog for my second trimester. I want to do 3 projects this trimester. This is the longest or the second longest trimester from the end of November to the middle of March. The three projects I want to do are

Arduino Blow-Out LED Candle

This is a C rated project and I believe is the perfect start to trimester 2. It is an easy arduino project that will get me introduced to arduino as it is my first Arduino project. I believe it would be very cool for me to start with this and that is a very appropriate project for the beginning of the second trimester.

Raspberry Pi Airplay receiver.

This is a B rated project and I believe is the perfect way to begin my self instruction in raspberry pi. I need to learn raspberry pi as it unlocks a whole new world to what is possible for me. It can make be a better maker.

Raspberry Pi Weather Station

This is a B rated project as well. I would like to do this project because I want to become much better at the software or coding part of making. It is not enough to 3D print or laser cut an object. That is useless without the code or the moving part that makes it whole. You told me that I should master both platforms. And my preconception is that arduino may be a little easier that raspberry pi which is why I am devoting a second project to raspberry Pi.

This trimester, I have been trying to go outside my comfort zone, which are the machines. The 3D printer and the laser cutter are nice to use however aren't everything I will need for the real world. I need arduino experience and raspberry pi experience to become a better maker and to become more experienced.
