For this project, I did the laser cut puzzles. Since I am such a big fan of Harry Potter, I decided to do Hogwarts. I started with finding a 3D model of Hogwarts on Thingiverse. Then I imported into 123D Make, an application that turn 3D models into 2D slices. Since that was the first time me using the laser cutter, I got help from friends and classmates on the settings and what I had to do. Then the laser cutter cut the 325 or so pieces needed to create the model. Sadly, about a hundred or 150 pieces were very small and could not be put on to the design. After finishing the laser cut puzzles, I 3D printed the original model I based the "puzzle" off of to compare.
