These two weeks have been very productive for me. For the Tautochrone Brachistochrone Cycloid, I have created a completely new prototype. The old one was made out of flimsy cardboard. This new prototype that I have made is made out of wood. When we got the wood, it was too big for the laser cutter. I had to learn how to use the circular saw and cut the wood to fit in the laser cutter. Once I was able to do that, i was able to load the previous design with different setting and it was able to cut through the wood. I was able to make the wood prototype within a few days. The second thing I did was continue with my primary project. After seeing my last post, Mr Moss suggested that I do an above ground test of the gears. I have thought and have started creating a basic design for this above ground test. Mr. Moss also suggested to not use a motor to turn the gears. He suggested that I make a hand crank. I am currently creating this as well. Last but not least, I have began searching up options to create my 3D Bust.

Laser Cut some more gears
Notice how the gears have been doubled up. This is for the hand crank. I plan to put some string in the middle and wind up and down with the crank.
