WHM Comment - On a scale of 1-10 - drawings are below expectations for IB Concept sketches - your score is currently 2/10 per drawing or 2*5 = 10/60
I was expecting hand-drawn sketches that were better than your Criteria B CAD Concept drawings
Sketch quality is approaching expectation (detail, quality of sketches). You need more details and notes. Start by redrawing what you’ve made using a straight edge and very legible printing….slow down!
There are several techniques to improve quality for each successive iteration. Use isometric projection technique to show 3D depth on all of your sketches - most of your drawings are just 2D or childlike 2D/isometric hybrids. Pen sketches don't permit contrast. Simply drawing over outlines of objects with a sharpie (black; colored preferred) makes a big difference. Appears that you scanned your drawings - Good! - versus photographing; eliminates borders (which can be cropped) and grey shadow marks.
You need more details and notes, particularly annotations describing pro vs con and user feedback…. This will cause a problem on your web post - see next comments
I like one idea per sketch...but it makes for a long web page if you make the image large enough on a web page so that the text is normal size (will viewers scroll all the way down?). If you want to compare multiple ideas, use a storyboard or blackboard to point out compare and contrast separately. Solution (for Summative) - Place each of your drawings in a reduced-size panel; add a hyperlink for each drawing that links to your drawing so that clicking on it opens a new full page rendering. Viewers can then use +/- buttons to enlarge and view fine detail
Finally - more radical ideas - you have a tilt maze - but it is a boring Design-Thinking I style. The concept sketch is the platform to make creative - (like seal in liquid so that ball and liquid are close in density, slowing the movement of the ball but reducing friction...so the marble moves like a boat in water and can’t stop on a dime). What about using lasers to tag the Whack a Mole instead of touching...or use capacitive resistance or presence sensors to eliminate touching the LED panels? Need more creativity! This is why we’re taking time to rework this project.
