Dear Summerside Eagle Families,
Summerside students led a portion of the West Clermont School Board facilities tour at Summerside and Board Meeting on Monday, March 18th. Students shared how they engage in our learning environment, what they are learning in their classrooms, and the work they are doing to build communication & collaboration skills in their weekly Discovery Class. Students shared the importance of communication and collaboration in school and how it extends to all parts of their lives. They noted the importance of building and refining these skills and how they lead to our Portrait of a Graduate outcomes. Students guided WC Board Members and community audience members in an activity that practiced these skills. Be sure to check out the pictures below to celebrate our students learning, leading, and sharing their successes with us!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Courtney & Ms. Lowe

Last call! Join us for a 'Focus on Facilities' Town Hall
We invite all West Clermont families, staff, and residents from our community to an open discussion about the district's master facility plan and an opportunity to share your feedback about where the district is headed over the next several years. Join us as we examine the changing needs of school buildings as well as the challenges of aging facilities, limited space, and the need for modern learning environments for our students. Your voice is important! We hope that you will make plans next Wednesday, March 27th to attend our Focus on Facilities Town Hall at Merwin Elementary (1040 Gaskins Road, Cincinnati, OH 45245). The Town Hall will begin at 6 PM and will end promptly by 8 PM.
CCESC has partnered with The Cook Center for Human Connection to offer a free series of mental-health webinars for parents and educators in Clermont County. All sessions are live and can be signed into anonymously. Sessions take place on Mondays from 7-8 PM on designated dates, and they are facilitated by a licensed therapist with expertise in the topic area. Parents and educators are encouraged to participate in the live sessions, and they are provided the opportunity to seek advice directly from the facilitator. Sessions are also archived and can be accessed as needed.
