Dear Summerside Eagle Families,

What an exciting two days at Summerside!! On Monday, students in grades K - 2 held a Thanksgiving Feast. Throughout the past few weeks, students have been reading, writing, and learning about the history of Thanksgiving through literacy, social studies, and science standards. You can ask your child what they enjoyed learning about the most, to share their poem or writing with you, and what they liked eating at the feast! It was amazing to see more than 300 students sitting around shared Thanksgiving tables, enjoying one another's company! 

Our Summerstride Eagle Quest was filled with Summerside smiles throughout the day and so many reasons to celebrate together! The incredible t-shirts are a gift from our PTO and t-shirt sponsors to say thank you for your efforts to support this fundraiser and to show our collective school spirit. All grade levels joined the walk-a-thon inside the building, having fun at each station, dancing, limboing, cave treasure seeking and so much more! Each of these stations was led by a parent volunteer who brought energy, smiles, and fun to our students and staff. Thank you to our PTO and all of our volunteers for your support in making this event such a success!

OUR PTO RAISED MORE THAN $19,200 TOGETHER!!

It is powerful to think of how much we can do together to make such a difference!  We celebrated as a whole school at a morning assembly, setting the stage for the Eagle Quest adventures. We announced all of our top earners and while we didn't make it to Eagle's Point, we are SO close to the Enchanted Forest with a few more donations to be counted that were brought in on Tuesday. Be sure to ask your child about how much fun they had when they did the Summerstride!

West Clermont 'Focus on Facilities' Town Hall Series

At our next series of Town Halls, we will be turning our focus to the school buildings in West Clermont. During these Town Hall events, we will examine the changing needs in facilities as well as the challenges of aging buildings, limited space, and the need for modern learning environments for our students. Through the Town Hall process, we will establish a Community Advisory Team that will assist the district in the formation of a Master Facilities Plan that is educationally-appropriate, financially responsible, and community-supported. Make sure your voice is heard! Join us on Tuesday, November 28th at Merwin Elementary (1040 Gaskins Road, Cincinnati, OH 45245). The Town Hall will begin at 6 PM. Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot here!

PowerSchool Mobile App Update

PowerSchool recently changed the West Clermont District Code for the PowerSchool Mobile App.  The new District Code is PRMG to access your student’s information.  Mobile App users must log out of the app and update the District Code to PRMG.  If you need assistance with updating the District Code on the mobile app, complete the PowerSchool Parent Portal Support Form or call 513-943-5078.  Please allow 2 business days for a response.
