Dear Eagle Families,

Students and staff at Summerside spent the day Friday honoring and recognizing the sacrifices that those who served and continue to serve our country in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Forces. Our PTO hosted a Veterans Day breakfast, allowing students to invite those in their families and lives to Summerside, giving us the opportunity to honor and celebrate their service as well as show all of our students that heroes walk among us in our daily lives. 

Our entire student body and staff lined our first floor, waving flags and giving thanks as the Veterans who were able to join us paraded through, showing our students how to strive for our WC Portrait of a Graduate outcomes. We are guiding our students to work to create the lives they desire, to continue to be courageous in the face of challenges, to turn ideas into action, to pursue personal happiness and joy, do what is right even when no one is watching. Those who have served and continue to serve certainly model these attributes in their daily lives.  Thank you to our PTO for providing this opportunity for our school to pause, give thanks, and honor Veterans Day and our Veterans in such a special event.

Invitation to Tour the  Facilities in West Clermont

Over the next several months, we encourage all residents of the district to come out and take a tour to learn more about YOUR West Clermont facilities. Prior to some upcoming school board meetings, we are opening our doors to give the community an opportunity to see our facilities and learn about the great things they provide, what we are potentially looking to improve in the future, and learn what it takes to maintain these for our kids and community.

Our next building tour is from 6-7 PM on November 16 at Clough Pike Elementary (808 Clough Pike).

Reservations are NOT required, but if you plan to attend, letting us know by completing this form will help us with planning.

District-Wide Notification System Test

Next week we will be conducting a district-wide test of our all-call and email notification system. On the evening of Wednesday, November 15th around 7 PM, we will send both a phone call and an email test notification to all West Clermont families. Our system will notify the student contacts that parents/guardians submitted during the annual re-registration process each summer. If you do not receive the phone call and/or email, or you wish to change the contact numbers on file for your student, please contact your child's school office.

PowerSchool Mobile App Update

PowerSchool recently changed the West Clermont District Code for the PowerSchool Mobile App.  The new District Code is PRMG to access your student’s information.  Mobile App users must log out of the app and update the District Code to PRMG.  If you need assistance with updating the District Code on the mobile app, complete the PowerSchool Parent Portal Support Form or call 513-943-5078.  Please allow 2 business days for a response.
