Dear Eagle Families,

Fall is in the air and it is that time of year to break out winter coats, hats, and gloves as the weather is definitely getting colder outside! A reminder that students will go outside for recess to have some fun and get some much-needed fresh air and exercise as long as the surface conditions are deemed safe and the temperature (including wind chill) feels like 28 degrees or warmer. Please be sure to write their name on their belongings too. If your child is in need of a winter coat, please let us know as we can connect you with local resources to help keep them warm. Report cards were released on Tuesday, October 31st. We encourage all to log on to see your child's progress toward mastery of grade-level standards and to reach out to your child's teacher with any questions or insight into how to continue to support your child's growth. 

We will be honoring Veteran's Day on Friday, November 10th. Our PTO is hosting a breakfast for students who are able to bring a special guest to Summerside that morning.  All students at Summerside will learn more about Veteran's Day that day and have the opportunity to honor our special guests as well that morning. Please see below for the flyer from our PTO for more details.  

A reminder, we do not have school on Tuesday, November 7th due to Election Day.  We encourage all to get out and vote!

Parent Mental-Health Series

The Clermont County Educational Service Center (CCESC) is offering  a free series of mental-health webinars for parents in Clermont County. Parents can sign in to the webinars anonymously and take place on certain Mondays from 7-8 PM. Each session is facilitated by a licensed therapist with expertise in the topic area. The series continues on Monday, November 6 with a session entitled, "De-escalating Cycles of Conflict." For more information and the link to register for the webinar, check out this flyer.

PowerSchool Mobile App Update

PowerSchool recently changed the West Clermont District Code for the PowerSchool Mobile App.  The new District Code is PRMG to access your student’s information.  Mobile App users must log out of the app and update the District Code to PRMG.  If you need assistance with updating the District Code on the mobile app, complete the PowerSchool Parent Portal Support Form or call 513-943-5078.  Please allow 2 business days for a response.
