While we all know that giving feedback on student work goes beyond just putting a sticker or stamp on the page, there are still many uses for those visual representations. A sticker can send a quick message that prompts the student to look for further feedback in the form of written or recorded comments. It can also be a quick way to document when a student is ready to move on to a next step. You can buy digital stickers online, but imagine your students' excitement when they see a sticker with your face or your classroom icon on it or a message that’s used on one of your classroom anchor charts. Creating your own stickers takes a little more time, but it allows you to personalize the message for your students.
