Educators know that learning does not happen by simply sharing knowledge and modeling skills. It is a complex, delicate endeavor that is carefully constructed within safe learning environments and as a result of trusting relationships. When teaching in a virtual classroom, educators need to find new ways to build relationships and inclusive environments. What are some ideas to begin that process? Record your video. Tape your phone to the wall like in the video or be creative and go to another location to record. If you have been uncomfortable creating screencasts all together, just start small and make some practice screencasts using Loom or Screencast-o-matic . It does not have to be perfect! Share your work on your Individual Professional Learning Plan.
