Staff accommodation is only eligible for colleagues who live over 20 miles away from the hotel premises and are aged 18 years and over. Staff accommodation is temporary and should not exceed 6 months.
If you are living in staff accommodation, you will need to sign a staff accommodation contract before occupancy. This will detail the full terms and conditions of your tenancy including a full list of house rules that must be adhered to and details of notice periods when vacating the premises.
Repeated or persistent failure to adhere to your staff accommodation contract could result in disciplinary action or the accommodation being removed.
The agreed amount of rent will be deducted by the Company from each of your monthly salary payments. This is to cover the cost of your rent, council tax and utilities such as gas and electricity.
A deposit is payable to the Company upon occupation and the amount will be stated in your staff accommodation contract. This will be refunded to you in your final salary payment after you leave the Company’s employment, provided that you have kept to the terms and conditions set out in your staff accommodation contract.
If staff accommodation is off site (not part of the hotel) and you have a television, it is your responsibility to obtain a TV License, the Company accepts no responsibility for this.
