On joining KGH, your employment is subject to a probationary period. The length of your probationary period is detailed in your contract of employment.

Your Line Manager will review and assess your performance, capability and suitability for your role at regular intervals after week 1, week 6 and week 12. You can ask your Line Manager for a copy of these reviews if you wish to keep a copy.
During your probation period, your Line Manager will provide regular feedback about your performance and progress and will raise challenges as soon as possible with a view to supporting your development. Your Line Manager will provide guidance and support throughout and will identify and arrange any necessary training or coaching that may be required.
If your Line Manager is concerned about your performance/conduct, you will receive a letter detailing the cause for concern, expected improvements and time frames for achieving these improvements.
You are subject to all terms and conditions in your contract of employment.
Your notice period during your probation is detailed in your contract of employment.
If you have been transferred or promoted into a different role, the amount of notice both yourself and the Company must give will be as defined in your contract of employment based on length of service.
The Company reserves the right to extend your probation period at its discretion.
If an extension to your probationary period is agreed, this will be confirmed to you in writing.
Your end of probation review meeting will be completed on or before the date on which your probationary period comes to an end. In this meeting you will discuss your performance and progress throughout the period of probation with your Line Manager.
If your probationary period is successful, you will receive a letter confirming this once your final review is complete.
If your performance has not met the standards required, this will be communicated to you during your review meeting.
