Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP)

Return to Work Process

KGH have measures in place for the safe evacuation of colleagues from its buildings.

If you think you may have any difficulties in hearing an alarm or evacuating a building unaided in the event of an emergency due to a mobility or sensory impairment, a temporary injury (e.g. if you are on crutches) or have difficulty coping in crowds, you will require a PEEP.

A PEEP will be jointly developed between you and your Line Manager and will enable you to safely exit the building during an emergency.

KGH maintains a documented return to work process for its colleagues who have been absent from work due to a disability and who require disability-related accommodations in order to return to work. The process shall outline the steps the Company will take to facilitate the return to work and will include documented individual accommodation plans as part of the process.

Performance Management, Career Development, Advancement and Redeployment

The Company will take into account the accessibility needs of colleagues with disabilities, as well as individual accommodation plans, when conducting performance management, providing career development and advancement opportunities, or when redeploying colleagues.
