At 3 and 5 years’ service: Additional paid day off on birthday will automatically be added to your holiday entitlement at the start of the week in which the relevant birthday occurs. This day should be taken as close to your birthday date as possible and within a maximum of 30 days. This day may only be carried over to the next holiday year where your birthday occurs less than 30 days before the end of the holiday year.
At 10, 15 and 20 years’ service: 1 week’s additional paid holiday will automatically be added to the total holiday entitlement in the holiday year following the anniversary date in this year only.
If you leave employment during the qualifying year (for whatever reason), you will no longer be eligible for the additional holiday entitlement, and no payment will be made in lieu on termination of employment.
The additional week will be added to your annual entitlement for that year and if you leave within that year you will be paid accrued holiday to your last working day.
For those who have more than 20 years’ service, the 1 week’s bonus holiday award will be repeated at 5 yearly intervals, this needs to be taken in the year following your anniversary date.
If you get over 20 years of service with us, firstly well done and thank you for your support in pursuing outstanding! As a big thank you, you will be invited to an annual celebration lunch along with all colleagues with 20+ years’ service. The event will be hosted by Kew Green Directors.
