In the Network Administrator program, students will learn through hands-on training to install, configure, operate, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows desktop and server systems and services to support the day-to-day operations of small, medium, and enterprise network environments. Elective courses provide training options in Linux fundamentals, networking and network security fundamentals, data storage, and advanced Windows Server topics. This training can be used as a step to gaining valuable industry recognized certification titles including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Linux Essentials, and CompTIA Security + and Network +.

n the Network Engineer program, students will learn through hands-on training to install, configure, operate, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches as well as Microsoft Windows desktop and server systems and services to support the day-to-day operations of small, medium, and enterprise network environments.
SLCC Network Support Technician CA

The Network Support Technician program prepares students to fill an entry level networking support position in the information technology field. It covers the basics of communication media, communication devices, and troubleshooting. Skills obtained in this program lead to the CompTIA Network+ industry certification.

In the Windows Network Administration program, students will learn through hands-on training to install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows desktop and server systems and services to support the day-to-day management of small, medium, and enterprise network environments.
SLCC Windows Server Administration CA

Building upon a foundation of prior knowledge and skills developed through work experience or prior education, students enrolling in the Windows Server Administration hands-on training program will continue to expand their knowledge, abilities and skills to support Microsoft server and desktop systems and services in small, medium, and large network environments.

The Certificate of Completion in Network Administration provides students with training in server administration, computer architecture, and networking. Students select from a variety of courses in cabling, Windows system administration, router management, information security, computer forensics, and Linux system administration.
