SLCC Electronics Engineering Technician (KEET) 

432 Hours

This program provides a solid foundation for students desiring to enter the electronics engineering technician field. Students learn the skills required of an electronic engineering technician, to support engineers involved in R&D, design, and manufacturing. The program covers programming with embedded controllers, introduction to robotics with industry applications and programming, schematic capture and circuit simulation. Courses also cover printed circuit board design and prototyping using software and PCB milling machines/systems. In addition, the program includes National Instruments Lab VIEW software, a widely used industry applications for programming Virtual Instruments, test and measurement, and controls.
