Fitness Technician
Fitness trainers and instructors lead, instruct, and motivate individuals or groups in exercise activities.
Fitness trainers and instructors work in facilities such as health clubs, fitness or recreation centers, gyms, and yoga and Pilates studios. They may work nights, weekends, or holidays.

The Fitness Technician Program is designed to train students to meet the growing demand in the fitness profession for personal trainers. Core courses include kinesiology, exercise physiology, nutrition, behavior modification, fitness assessment, program design, principles of weight training, flexibility and cardio fitness.
