The Grade 4 students enjoyed heading over to Riverview Middle School on Tuesday for a “Shadow Morning.” They had the opportunity to meet the teachers, as well as, participate in a variety of activities with the Grade 5 students. These activities included learning how to use a combination lock, playing Music Bingo and Quizzes, and observing a chemistry experiment. A fibonacci sequence is an increasing pattern that occurs in nature such as the arrangement of leaves on a stem and the pattern of seeds in a sunflower. The students were given a fibonacci template and were asked to use their creativity to design their own piece of art.
