Flowers Are Our Medicine - Métis Dot Art

On Tuesday, the Grade 4 students participated in the virtual field trip “Flowers Are Our Medicine” hosted by Metis artist Laura Hall. They learned about the wisdom of flowers and explored why the Metis are known as the Flower Beadwork people. Following this, the students enjoyed creating a flower painting utilizing the Metis Dot Art Technique.

Fitset Ninja

On Wednesday, Fitset Ninja set up their mobile obstacle course in the gym for the students of RBES to enjoy. Everyone had a great time balancing, jumping, and swinging their way through challenging routes and obstacles. This fun event was made possible thanks to the funds raised through the Spell-a-thon.
