Santa Letters

This week we reviewed the five components of a friendly letter - heading, greeting, body, closing and signature. The students were then assigned the task of writing a letter to Santa. We have mailed the letters to the North Pole and the students are eagerly awaiting Santa's reply.

I have included the student's letters here for you to read.

Earth Rangers

This week the entire school was able to participate in a virtual Earth Rangers show. Earth Rangers is a kids' conservation organization committed to instilling environmental knowledge, positivity, and the confidence to take action. This show aims at helping students understand that it's not too late to help the planet and the things we do today will matter tomorrow. The Earth Rangers show featured live Animal Ambassadors - Delta the Savannah Monitor Lizard, Sylva the Laughing Kookaburra Bird and Sunny the Harris Hawk. During the presentation the students were also introduced to real-life conservation projects such as the Wildlife Adoption Program. The students can use the link below to discover amazing facts about animals, complete awesome missions, and level up to earn badges and more.
