Earth Day
Earth Day
Every year on April 22nd, Earth Day is celebrated around the world in over 192 countries. But this annual event is much more than a celebration – it’s an important day to raise awareness about looking after the environment. On Monday the students enjoyed participating in a school-wide walk to celebrate Earth Day. Throughout the week, our class also completed Earth Day literacy activities. We learned about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and read a book called One Plastic Bag to highlight how we can do our part in helping protect the Earth.
