In Art, we worked on a pumpkin mosaic project. We began by listening to a story called the “Runaway Pumpkin” by Kevin Lewis. Then the students were asked to blend paint to create different shades of orange. With the painted paper, they created mosaic designs by cutting a variety of triangles. To finish they added jack-o-lantern faces.

This week, Ms. Wallace started our Social Studies unit on “Alberta: A Sense of the Land”. The students enjoyed brainstorming words about Alberta to create a collaborative word cloud on a website called Menti.
