We are very lucky to have Ms. Wallace join us for her AFX practicum. She will be in our room planning, teaching, and helping out until the second week in December. She has already been such a wonderful addition to 4B!

This week we watched the story Turkey Trouble by Wendy J. Silvano online. After hearing the story, the students were asked to write a friendly letter to Farmer Jake. The letter was to be written from the perspective of the turkey in the story, trying to persuade Farmer Jake to try something different for Thanksgiving dinner.

The students had a great time writing the letter and some of their arguments were pretty convincing!

After learning about climate change and the impact it has on our Earth, the students created a presentation on Google Slides to inform others about how they can help global warming by reducing their carbon footprint.
