This week the students wrote "Buddy Bio Poems" about another student in the class. First we listened to the book, Don’t Need Friends. Then the students completed a fun writing activity which involved them interviewing a classmate and writing a poem about their partner. Bio poems are easy to write because they follow a specific format but they don't have to rhyme. The students began by interviewing a partner to gather facts and information about his or her classmate. Then they composed a short bio poem using the information learned during the partner interview. You can view this in Google Classroom.
