We recently started  our new “Light and Shadows” unit in Science. This week, the students worked in pairs to complete an experiment to help them understand that light travels in straight lines outward from a light source. The students also learned that light rays can be blocked by an opaque material. 

The Grade 4 students were so excited to head over to Riverview Middle School on Thursday morning! We were greeted by a few staff members and a group of Grade 9 leadership students. Then we enjoyed some delicious pancakes before spitting up into groups and heading around the school for a tour.
