Geometry and Angles
We began our “Geometry and Angles” unit in math this week. The students learned to differentiate between acute, obtuse, right, straight, and reflex angles. They also paired up with a partner to practice identifying, estimating, and measuring angles using a protractor.

Plant Growth and Changes
Plant Growth and Changes
This week, we started our final science unit, “Plant Growth and Changes.” The students filled in a KW chart indicating what they know and what they wonder about plants, in addition to learning about their basic needs. They were excited to plant their own bean seeds in the classroom. Over the next few weeks, the students will care for their plants, while observing the changes that occur.
