The Wellness committee organized a variety of activities for our students, focusing on mental and physical wellness. On November 22nd, the Grades 1-4 students participated in their first afternoon of Wellness Day sessions. Each rotation consisted of activities involving “Connection Building”, “Mindfulness” and “Movement”. The students will have the opportunity to participate in two more afternoons of wellness later in the school year.

This week the students worked on a chalk pastel of Auroras. This tied in nicely with our Text Talk Thursday FanSchool post, where we read and answered comprehension questions about the book - Amazing Sights in the Sky: Auroras written by Jane P. Gardner. Please ask your child to sign into Fanschool and show you their answers to these comprehension questions.
