國立聯合大學持續以專業師資支援地方政府在水資源管理、水安全及環境永續領域的政策與計畫推動。113 年度多位教師受邀擔任苗栗縣政府行政發包案件之技術服務案評選委員，提供學術與專業諮詢意見，協助地方政府進行水環境治理及永續規劃。具體案例如下：

National United University continues to provide professional academic support to local governments in promoting policies and projects related to water resource management, water security, and environmental sustainability.
In Fiscal Year 2024 (R.O.C. Year 113), several faculty members of the University were invited to serve as evaluation committee members for various technical service procurement projects commissioned by the Miaoli County Government. These experts offered academic and professional consultations to assist the county government in water environment governance and sustainable planning. Representative cases are as follows:
“2024 Miaoli County Project for Source Reduction Strategy Planning of Solid Waste, Evaluation of Calorific Value and Chemical Composition of Township (City) Waste, and Inspection & Counseling”
Professor Huang, Hsin-Liang of National United University served as an evaluation committee member.
