1. 《消除一切形式種族歧視國際公約》(ICERD)
(1) 國立聯合大學於113年9月5日至同年11月30日止辦理「性別平等主題電子書展:聯合國永續發展目標 SDGs5 - 實現性別平等,並賦予婦女權力」邀請大家共同關注兩性各種形式歧視、暴力、平等的經濟權利、社會保護政策等議題之電子書展。
(2) 於本校人事室網站宣導「消除一切形式種族歧視國際公約」相關訊息。
2. 促進性別平等
(1)國立聯合大學為促進性別地位之實質平等,消除性別歧視,維護人格尊嚴,厚植並建立性別平等之教育資源與環境,依性別平等教育法第六條規定成立「國立聯合大學性別平等教育委員會」,委員會就性騷擾申訴案件進行調查,為保護當事人之個資及隱私以密件方式處理及調查。
(2)國立聯合大學於職缺公告時,要求應徵者切結無性侵害犯罪、性騷擾或性霸凌情事,並同意於相關系統查閱「性侵害登記資料」。
(3)國立聯合大學每年皆開設性別平等相關課程,供教職員上課,以促進別平等校圖學習環境。
1.International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD)
(1) Pursuant to the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) — Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls — National United University (NUU) held a thematic digital book exhibition titled “Gender Equality: SDG 5 — Achieving Gender Equality and Empowering Women” from 5 September to 30 November 2024.
The exhibition invited participation from the university community to promote awareness and discussion on issues such as discrimination and violence based on gender, equality in economic rights, and social protection policies.
(2) The University has also disseminated information regarding the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) through its Office of Personnel website to promote understanding and compliance with the Convention.
2.Promotion of Gender Equality
(1) In accordance with Article 6 of the Gender Equity Education Act, National United University hereby established the Gender Equity Education Committee to promote substantive gender equality, eliminate gender discrimination, and safeguard human dignity.
The Committee is responsible for investigating complaints of sexual harassment and related incidents, and all proceedings are handled in strict confidentiality to protect the privacy and personal data of the parties involved.
(2) In the recruitment process, the University requires all applicants to sign a declaration of no record of sexual assault, harassment, or bullying, and to consent to verification through the Sexual Offense Record Database maintained by the competent authority.
(3) The University offers gender equity education and training courses annually for faculty and staff to foster a campus learning environment that upholds gender equality and inclusiveness.
本校依據《性別平等教育法》、《性別工作平等法》及《教育人員任用條例》等法規,制定並施行「反歧視政策」,保障所有學生與教職員之平等權益,禁止基於性別、性傾向、性別認同、種族、國籍、宗教、年齡、身心狀況等任何形式的差別待遇。
為確保校園安全與尊重,本校政策涵蓋下列要點:
1. 教職員工作權益保障:所有人事聘任、升遷、評鑑與續聘,不得因性別、婚姻、懷孕、身心疾病或其他個人特徵而受差別對待。契約書明定相關保障條款,並禁止職場霸凌與職場暴力。
2. 學生受教權保障:確保學生在校園內免於任何歧視、霸凌與不法侵害,並獲得安全且尊重的學習環境。
Pursuant to the Gender Equity Education Act, the Act of Gender Equality in Employment, and the Regulations Governing the Appointment of Educational Personnel, National United University has hereby formulated and implemented an Anti-Discrimination Policy to safeguard the equal rights and interests of all students, faculty, and staff. Any form of differential treatment based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, nationality, religion, age, or physical or mental condition is strictly prohibited.
In order to ensure a safe and respectful campus environment, the University’s policy encompasses the following key provisions:
1. Protection of Faculty and Staff Employment Rights: All matters concerning personnel recruitment, promotion, evaluation, and contract renewal shall be conducted without discrimination based on gender, marital status, pregnancy, physical or mental health condition, or any other personal attribute. Employment contracts shall explicitly include provisions for such protections, and acts of workplace bullying or workplace violence are strictly prohibited.
2. Protection of Students’ Right to Education: The University shall ensure that all students are free from any form of discrimination, bullying, or unlawful infringement on campus, and that they enjoy a learning environment characterized by safety and mutual respect.
