SDG 10.6.9 Disability access scheme

1.    本校訂定《國立聯合大學進用身心障礙人員執行方案》為提供身心障礙者就業機會，並保障身心障礙者享有平等及適當職場條件之權利，依《身心障礙者權益保障法》第38條規定，本校聘用身心障礙者19人，佔員工總數3%，符合法規所訂3%之標準。

2.    本校進一步訂定本校進用身心障礙人員執行方案，管制未足額單位遇職務出缺優先進用身心障礙人員，並結合苗栗縣政府勞工及青年發展處勞工服務科等相關資源，積極協助媒合。

3.    本校建置無障礙空間，如出入口坡道、電梯、無障礙停車位等，改善其工作環境、設備條件，以建立友善工作環境。

1.　National United University has formulated the Implementation Plan for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and to ensure their rights to equal and appropriate workplace conditions. Pursuant to Article 38 of the People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act, the University employs a total of 19 persons with disabilities, accounting for 3% of all staff members, thereby meeting the statutory requirement of 3%.

2.　Furthermore, the University has established internal implementation measures to ensure compliance with the employment quota for persons with disabilities. Units that have not met the required number are instructed to prioritize the recruitment of persons with disabilities when vacancies occur. The University also collaborates with the Labor Services Division of the Miaoli County Government Department of Labor and Youth Development and other related agencies to actively facilitate employment matching and support. 

3.　The University has developed barrier-free facilities—including accessible ramps, elevators, and parking spaces—to improve the workplace environment and infrastructure, thereby establishing an inclusive and supportive working environment. 

本校以「教育部補助大專校院招收及輔導身心障礙學生實施要點」為架構，協調各行政單位提供身心障礙學生教育學習、交通接送、職場見習、優先住宿等服務方案。各建築物均設有身心障礙人士專用停車格及無障礙廁所；學生宿舍均備有無障礙寢室，以確保符合特殊需求學生享有合宜的住宿環境。

Pursuant to the Ministry of Education’s Guidelines for the Admission and Support of Students with Disabilities in Institutions of Higher Education, the University coordinates among administrative units to provide various support programs for students with disabilities. These include educational assistance, transportation services, workplace internships, and priority access to dormitory accommodation. Each campus building is equipped with designated parking spaces and accessible restrooms for persons with disabilities, and student dormitories include accessible rooms to ensure that students with special needs have appropriate living conditions.

1.配合「身心障礙學生支持服務辦法 」，資源教室負責，為身心障礙學生提供學習輔導、生活輔具、社會福利協調等支持。 

2.本校開放身心障礙學生或身心障礙人士子女申請學雜費減免。

 1.In accordance with the Regulations for Supporting Services for Students with Disabilities, the Resource Classroom is responsible for providing support services such as learning guidance, assistive devices, and coordination of social welfare resources for students with disabilities.

2.The University permits applications for tuition and fee waivers from students with disabilities and from children of persons with disabilities.
