本校積極促進師生國際學術交流，鼓勵師生參加境外國際學術會議，發表重要研究成果，強化師生專業知識技能，提升國際競爭力，補助師生出席境外國際學術會議，113年補助教師生赴瑞典、英國、法國、美國、土耳其、日本、韓國、越南、泰國…等地區發表成果；計57人次1,025,000元。
National United University actively promotes international academic exchange among its faculty members and students. The University encourages participation in overseas academic conferences to facilitate the presentation of significant research achievements, strengthen professional expertise, and enhance global competitiveness.
In accordance with this objective, the University provides financial assistance for faculty and students attending international academic conferences abroad. In Fiscal Year 2024 (Academic Year 113), a total of 57 participants received subsidies amounting to NT$1,025,000, supporting their attendance and research presentations in various countries, including Sweden, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Turkey, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand, among others.
國立聯合大學參與「氣候行動巴黎地區聯盟」，並為R20-Taipei創始成員。本校將支持相關永續發展目標（SDG）活動，包含研發合作、數據蒐集與分析等。
此外，國立聯合大學與日本姊妹校新濱國立高等專科學校及國立工業高等專門學校共同主辦「2024第七屆台日雙邊學術研討會」，並與國家科技委員會推動多項合作計畫。
NUU participates in the Regions of Climate Action Paris and is a founding member of R20-Taipei. The university will support related SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) activities, including research and development cooperation, data collection, analysis, and more.
Additionally, NUU co-hosted the "2024 Seventh Taiwan-Japan Bilateral Academic Symposium" with its Japanese sister school, Niihama National College of Technology, and the National Institute of Technology in Japan. The university also has multiple collaborative projects and plans with the National Science and Technology Council.
