本校設有抽水井，主要提供八甲校區風雨球場部分洗手台之用。
NUU has a water pumping well, which is mainly used for hand washing basins in the outdoor playground of Bajia campus.
國立聯合大學積極推動校地水資源永續利用，並與地方機構合作推廣節水與水資源再利用示範計畫。苗栗市農會在水土保持局的協助下，為解決八甲地區茶園灌溉缺水問題，與國立聯合大學合作，於本校提供的一公頃土地上設置蓄水池示範區。該示範區透過太陽能電力系統抽取南龍坑溪水源，儲存於蓄水池中，供應周邊六公頃以上茶園灌溉使用。此計畫不僅有效降低用水壓力，提升農業用水效率，亦兼顧生態及景觀設計，示範區內設有步道、小橋、座椅與休憩空間，兼具環境教育與觀光功能，促進社區對永續水資源管理與茶業文化之認識。
National United University actively promotes the sustainable use of water resources on university grounds and collaborates with local institutions to implement water conservation and reuse demonstration projects.
In cooperation with the Miaoli City Farmers’ Association and under the guidance of the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau, a project was initiated to address irrigation water shortages affecting tea plantations in the Bajia area.
National United University allocated over one hectare of its land as a demonstration site for the establishment of a water storage reservoir, powered by solar energy pumping systems that draw water from the Nanlongkeng Creek. The reservoir provides sustainable irrigation for more than six hectares of surrounding tea plantations, thereby reducing water stress and improving agricultural water efficiency.
In addition to its functional role, the demonstration area has been designed as a landscape park, incorporating walking paths, small bridges, seating areas, and scenic photo points. This initiative integrates ecological conservation, water resource management, and cultural tourism, while enhancing public awareness of sustainable water management and tea cultivation culture in the local community.
