1. Periodically a line of takeoff may fail. This could be due to an incorrect formula in the software or a user-created error. (example: Selecting 6” EMT. This raceway type is only available in trade sizes 4” and smaller).
2. To re-resolve a line of takeoff:
a. Highlight the row(s) in the audit trail.
b. Right-click and select Full Resolve.
Represents a row that is resolving.
Represents a Re-resolve lock. This lock prevents the resolver from modifying a line of audit trail. To remove a lock, right-click and select "Re-resolve unlock.
Represents a row with a resolution error. Hover over the error to display the error message.
⚠️
Note:
A full resolve occurs when there is a change in breakdown/attributes, updating global variables, and a manual full resolve is done above. Recommended practice is to only highlight a few lines at a time as it is pushing a heavy load of data back to the servers. Refrain from highlighting your entire audit trail as it takes 1.5-3.0 seconds per audit trail line to fully resolve.
If a line of audit trail has a resolution error; that line of takeoff has failed. The contents of that takeoff will not be populated in the extension or reflected in the Final Pricing.
