In these feeder examples, four different takeoff pads are used. In the first example, use the Feeders Conduit w/Pre-Sets (Colored Wire) – Spec (TP11).
1. In Breakdowns: change the Bid Item, Drawing, Area, and Phase as needed. Select Systems – 140 Feeder. Select the Takeoff Task - Feeders (Conduit & Wire).
This sets the appropriate specification and Takeoff Pad. Change the Specification as needed.
2. Ensure the correct Attributes are selected. The Junction box should be turned off. Cuts, Joints, Hanger, and Ground Wire are turned on. The hanger type is 2-Piece Strut Clamp and the attachment is an “On Trapeze Profile” to mount the conduit.
3. On the Takeoff Pad, under Feeders Conduit & Wire (Plan & Spec), select 2” – 4 #3/0 w/ #6 Gnd.
4. In the assembly menu, enter:
Label – Add MDP to DP1 to beginning of label
Conduit Length – 80’
5. Press Enter.
6. Click the “+” to view the results of the takeoff.
