Ashley Lopez improves her time by over 1.5 seconds. She continues to hold the #5 All Time ERHS 100 Free record.

Lorelei Rojo shaves off almost half a second. She also continues to hold the #2 All Time ERHS 200 IM record.

Senior Lorelei Rojo sets a new, number 5 All-Time 500 Freestyle record of 6:14.94, replacing Nancy Vasquez's 2015 time of 6:24.46. This is her 8th school record.

4/11/23

The El Rancho Girls 400 Free Relay team set a new #5 School Record. Juliana Lemus, Carolina Moore, Adrianna Lopez, and Lorelei Rojo swam a 4:31.87 400 Free to replace last year's time by over 2 seconds. The previous #5 record was held by Moore, Lopez, Rojo, and Citlali Antonio.

This year's team will be chasing a 2020 time that is about 5 seconds faster. There best shot will be at Del Rio League Finals and at CIF, where the competition will drive them faster.

Adriana Lopez set a new #5 record in the 100 Breaststroke, displacing a 10 year old record held by Nancy Vasquez in 2013. Adriana is less than 2 seconds behind Ashley Meza's (2017 ) #4 time and 5 seconds behind Megan Carbajal's (2017) #3 record.

Adriana hold three school records in total: 100 Free #5, 100 Breasts #5, and the 400 Free Relay #5.

Junior David Tarazon picked up his first El Rancho School Record... #5 in the 200 Freestyle at 1:59.50. David's time overtakes Carlos Rojo's 2019 time of 2:01.58. 

4/24/23

David Tarazon's swim against the #1 Del Rio League 100 Backstroke Seed from California High motivated a record setting result last Friday.

David Tarazon leapfrogs to the #3 All-Time El Rancho High School's 100 Backstroke (2023) with a time of 1:00.03, pushing John Borjouquez 1975 time of 1:00.20 to fourth, Miguel Quijada 2009 time of 1:00.89 to fifth, and Ricky Terrazone 2003 of 1:01.20 off the record books.

David has Del Rio League Finals and CIF to try to chase down Coach Rojo's 1991 swim of :56.70 and his son Carlos' 2018 #1 time of :55.89.
