The Stopwatch continues to favor the AquaDons
This week's meet against Schurr HS was a chance for the AquaDons to stay sharp during their Del Rio League (DRL) bye -week. Some of our swimmers competed in an event for the first time, while others continued to lean into their bread and butter swims. Schurr HS has a new 13 lane aquatic center that was a nice break from the DRL pools designed in the 1950s.
Some of the highlights from the girls meet:
Meli Hernandez dropped 0.7 sec on her 50 Free and -0.5 sec from her 100 Free.
Arianna Garcia 6 sec from her 500 Free.
Estrella Cervantes dropped 7 sec from her 100 Breaststroke.
Lorelei Rojo took first place in her 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke.
