All Levels Sweep Alhambra

The Men's and Women's swim teams swept all four levels today at home, improving all four teams records to 2-0.

Highlights of the Men's team saw Rodrigo Osorio dropping 3 seconds off last year's personal best in the 100 Butterfly, while his team mate Victor Villegas right on his tail, drop a whopping 13 seconds from his personal best. Not to be outdone, 500 yard swimmer Andrew Ortiz set a high tempo pace for the first 200 yards of his swim to be within 10 seconds of his personal best. This was Ortiz's first 500 of the season, and he is already heading in the direction of improving his #4 ER All Time record.

Meli Hernandez missed setting a new #5 ER All Time record in the 200 IM but 2 seconds. Lorelei Rojo, who set the new #1 ER All Time record in the 100 Back and #4 time in the 100 Fly last week, improved both times and now claims a new #1 ER All Time record in the 100 Fly, taking the spot from Angelica Martinez's 2016 time by 4/10ths of a second. The 200 Free Relay team also set a new #5 ER All Time record, beating the 2019 time by 2/10ths of a second. Congratulations Lexi Gallegos, Natalie Zuniga, Karla Callejas, and Karinna Lopez! And the 400 Free Relay team set a new #4 ER All Time record... Congrats Natalie Zuniga, Citlali Antonio, Karinna Lopez, and Lorelei Rojo.
